I worked with the composers Dave Derby and Michael Kotch on the score of this made-for-television romantic comedy which was broadcast on the Oxygen Channel, and stars Nadine Velazquez, Mark Consuelos, and Mario Lopez. The team of Derby and Kotch were hired to do the soundtrack, and they in turn hired me to do about a third of the film’s original music. There were a lot of musical references supplied for the score of this project, and I composed some music in several veins, from ZZ Top – style blues, to ’70′s cop-show music, to orchestral pop…! This sequence is a shortened version of the first scene in the movie, featuring the afore-mentioned blues style as well as a brief southern-rock piece.
